Tango Down - Asset Creator Privacy Policy

The short version

• Tango Down - Asset Creator runs inside ChatGPT. Your prompts, reference images and generated images are handled by OpenAI, not by us.
• The Asset Creator does not send your conversations, uploads or generated images to Tango Down. It has no server of its own.
• You can read tangodown.gg without an account. The site has no advertising or analytics scripts.
• We only hold personal information if you choose to sign in to the Tango Down game website or contact us.

1. Scope

This policy covers Tango Down - Asset Creator (the "Asset Creator"), a ChatGPT plugin published by Kyle ("we", "us"), and the website at tangodown.gg. The website is also used by testers of the Tango Down game, so this policy describes what the website does for them too.

It does not cover ChatGPT or any other OpenAI product. Those are governed by OpenAI's own terms and privacy policy.

2. Information processed

2.1 Handled by ChatGPT / OpenAI

The Asset Creator is a set of instructions and a workflow that ChatGPT follows. When you use it, everything happens inside your ChatGPT conversation. That includes:

• the prompts and descriptions you type,
• any reference images you upload,
• the images and text ChatGPT generates, and
• your ChatGPT account, usage and device information.

OpenAI processes this information under its own privacy policy. We do not control how OpenAI stores or uses it. Your data controls and history settings in ChatGPT apply to conversations that use the Asset Creator.

2.2 Sent to or collected by Tango Down

Nothing, as part of using the Asset Creator. It does not connect to a Tango Down server or any other external service operated by us, and we do not receive your ChatGPT conversations, uploaded images, generated images, ChatGPT account details or IP address from your use of it.

The only Asset Creator-related information we receive is what you choose to send us yourself, for example a support message containing your contact name, a description of the problem, and any prompts or images you decide to include.

2.3 Collected when you visit tangodown.gg

Just browsing. You do not need an account to read these pages. The website does not include advertising, analytics or tracking scripts. As with any website, the servers that deliver it receive standard request information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested (see "Third-party services" below).

Cookies and browser storage. The site uses a small number of functional items and no advertising or tracking cookies:

• a session cookie (tangodown-session) used to keep you signed in; it only contains account details once you have signed in;
• a cookie (userSession) that remembers site state for signed-in testers, such as their username and game launcher sign-in;
• your light or dark theme preference, saved in your browser's local storage;
• for testers using the Tango Down game launcher, the game install location, saved in local storage.

If you sign in. Signing in is optional and is not needed to use the Asset Creator. If you sign in to the Tango Down game website with Discord, we receive and store your Discord email address, username, display name, Discord user ID and profile appearance details (avatar, banner and accent color). We also store the time of your last login, a securely hashed password if you create one for the game, sign-in tokens for the game launcher, and any testing availability you submit.

Game servers. Tango Down game servers that register with the site have their IP address and server details (such as name, map and player count) stored so they can be listed.

3. How information is used

• To deliver the website and keep it working and secure.
• To sign testers in and run the Tango Down pre-alpha: accounts, game login, testing availability and server lists.
• To read and answer support requests and reports you send us.

We do not use information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

4. Third-party services

• OpenAI (ChatGPT). Runs the Asset Creator and generates all images and text. See section 2.1.
• Cloudflare. Hosts tangodown.gg and its database. Cloudflare processes request information, including IP addresses, in order to deliver and protect the site.
• Discord. Provides sign-in for the game website and hosts our community and support server. Profile pictures of signed-in users are loaded from Discord. If you contact us on Discord, Discord's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
• Iconify. Some interface icons may be loaded from the Iconify icon service, which receives a standard web request from your browser.

Fonts are served from tangodown.gg itself.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, to the extent needed to run the website, or where the law requires it. The username and profile picture of a signed-in tester can be seen by other signed-in testers.

6. Data retention

• Asset Creator. We hold no Asset Creator conversation data, so there is nothing for us to retain. Retention of your ChatGPT conversations and images is controlled by OpenAI and your ChatGPT settings.
• Website accounts. Account information is kept while the account exists. Ask us to delete it using the contact details below.
• Support messages. Kept for as long as needed to resolve the request and keep a record of it.

7. Security

The website is served over HTTPS, the session cookie is encrypted, and passwords are stored hashed rather than in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

The Asset Creator and this website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Use of ChatGPT is also subject to OpenAI's age requirements. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your choices and rights

• You can use the Asset Creator and read this website without creating a Tango Down account.
• Manage or delete your ChatGPT conversations, uploads and generated images through your ChatGPT settings.
• You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser. Signing in will not work without the session cookie.
• If you have a Tango Down account, you can update your username and email in your account settings, and ask us to access, correct or delete your information.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law. Contact us and we will respond to your request.

10. Changes to this policy

If the Asset Creator or the website changes how information is handled, for example if the Asset Creator later connects to a Tango Down service, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
